2027 Nucleus Colony Reservation

Reserve a 2027 Understory Harvest nucleus colony. Each nuc comes in a Jester Nuc Box and is built to give new colonies a strong, practical start.

• Mated queen included: every nuc includes a mated queen. The queen may be current-year or previous-year depending on when she was introduced and the part of the season when the nuc is purchased.
• Brood strength: each nuc includes approximately 2.5 to 3 frames of brood in various stages.
• Food resources: each nuc includes a food frame to help support the colony during transition.
• Room to grow: each nuc includes a partial frame for the bees to finish drawing out.
• Queen selection: queens are selected for good brood patterns and must be laying for a minimum of two weeks before the nuc is sold.
