Nucleus colonies
A nuc is a small, established colony intended to help a beekeeper begin or expand an apiary. Exact contents, timing, and current reservation terms belong on the live shop listing because biological conditions can change.
Queens
Queen availability depends on season and successful mating. A reservation is not a promise that nature will follow a fixed calendar; timing and handoff expectations are confirmed for the applicable season.
Prepare before bringing bees home
Have suitable hive equipment assembled and placed before pickup, with a practical water source and a forage-aware location. Learn local rules, develop a mite-monitoring plan, and arrange protective equipment. New beekeepers benefit from a local club, mentor, or class before colony arrival.
Confirm every reservation detail directly, including what is included, approximate timing, and handoff instructions. Do not arrive at the apiary without a confirmed arrangement; this page does not advertise public visitor access.
